UV Urban Landscapes Shoot

I’ll give you 500 bucks if you chuck in that dicky truckers cap.
Thanks to Rachel for draging me out and getting back into what I love. Even if I was hung over. These pics ‘might’ be used in the upcoming UV magazine. Check out some of the ones I liked…

Food from Eclipse Bistro at Camp Hill. Some wonderful creations. I’ve been neglecting my food photography.

Sophie Adamus & Briony Luttrell
Last night I went to see Tara and her band play at the launch of Sugarrush Records. I must apologise to Chris the drummer, unfortunatly the lighting was bad and I found it hard to get a good pic. Hopefully I’ll have a fast zoom lens soon!

No commentsScott ‘Sparky’ Spark and Claire Whiting @ Rics
Ok, so I know this is late coming. I’ve been flat out with work stuff, which pretty much leaves me not wanting to play with images when I get home.
Anyway, I give you Scott Spark and Claire Whiting @ Rics.
A great local gig, my first time seeing Claire Whiting perform. A great sound indeed. And Scott’s music is so calming. It makes me drift off and enjoy the fact that I’m actually out doing what I love to do. And that’s take photos of people doing what they love. I’ll post a few more soon.

This is from many moons ago, but while I’m in Emma Dean mode I thought I’d post this. I can’t believe I hadn’t posted it earlier.

The Beautiful Emma Dean
This morning I got up at 4:30 a little nervous about the shoot, for today I was privileged enough to be taking Emma Dean’s photo. This IS the best shoot I’ve done to date. Everything was perfect, the lighting, the location the model.
I’ve been a little out of touch with my photography, mostly due to work. Sometimes it’s like I don’t want to bring work home with me. But this all changed this morning, you could say I’ve got my photography mojo back. Last weekend I was up visiting my Mum and Dad at Mt Tamborine when we drove past this run down farm house / shed. I wasn’t entirely sure if the location was suitable because all I caught was a glimpse whilst driving past. It turned out to be just what I was after.
More pics to come…(Click the ‘Read More’ tag to see more of this wonderful girl)
Emma Dean will be performing alongside Tara Simmons and Scott Spark this Thursday the 12th of April, 7:30pm at The Globe, 220 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley. It should be a great night, so come along and show your support
