Indah & Rahni

Today is a good day. I met little Indah & Rahni, Dreamworlds newest little tiger cubs (12 weeks old). There is a story running in the new Gold Coast edition of Style about a girl called Liz who works with these cute little cubs. Cassie and I spent the good part of an hour walking around taking pics of them as they played on their morning walk. One of them head butted my camera! I’m not the best with words, so I’ll let the pics do the talking. More tiger goodness to come….

Closer

“Actor Kathryn Fray started her own business, 23rd Productions and has funded the initial production of Patrick Marber’s play Closer. Closer offers an acidic view of modern heterosexual relationships.” taken from my photography job notes.

I really like this pic. It was a 2 minute job as I was a tad late and the actors were on a tight schedule. The theartre was bland, no props with a black stage and curtain. The seats had a nostalgic feel and made for nice texture.

Off the topic..

The man of the right commented that I bare resemblance to the late David Hemmings from the 1966 movie Blow up. Which I’ve seen when my former house mate Daniel Crichton-Rouse purchased the DVD sometime ago. I’ll let you decide.

Hot Liquid Sex @ Ric’s

I just wrote a whole post about this gig, my net died and I lost it all. For now, here are the pics. I’m pissed off.

Tara Simmons @ The Troubadour

I love shots that show passion and capture the moment. It was a great night of music and friends, I only went to see Tara, but stayed to listen to The Black Arts and Glasshouse.

Tara makes some beautiful music! Check her stuff out…

Nee Fest 2007

Over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend, a big group of friends and I travel out past Rathdowney for a weekend of camping and shenanigans! This year we camped at Flanagan’s Reserve (map), only because last year at Bigriggen we had been mistaken for hooligans (read more about it here) and were told it would have been best if we found a new camp gorund.

A good weekend was had by all. All up 12 people showed up despite the cold weather. No serious injuries to report. Only a flat tyre. This year a few new faces show up including Chad, check out his top star trail shot.

I hope to have some pics uploaded in my photo gallery soon. Until then I’ll post some boring arty shots.

Jacob Diefenbach @ Rics

I headed out to Ric’s again last night to see Clare Whiting and Jacob Diefenbach play a set. I missed out on seeing most of clare’s set and thought this time I’ll just listen and enjoy. So unfortunatly this time there are no photos of her. The added candles made for a nice comfy setting, especially with the good rain bucketing down outside. More to come…

Edward Guglielmino & Chris Brady @ Barsoma

Edward Guglielmino
Ed

After attending the launch of UV magazine #4, I left early due to feeling unsociable. Knowing Caitlin was out seeing Ed and Chris play at Barsoma, I decided to head over and catch their gig. I had never seen either of them play before, and found comfort sitting on the couches drinking a wine and listening to so laid back tunes. More pics to come…
